My cat Has lost some fur

My cat has a very small patch of hair missing above her mouth to the right of her nose, she is a very heslthy cat up to date on all her shots....I just happened to notice it when she was sitting on my lap.....do you have any idea what that could be?????

Hi normally any fur loss is caused by either over grooming or by a cat fight or by a parasite problem or allergy.

Keep an eye on it to see if it recovers in the next few days, if not then it is probably advisable to have the vet take a look as they may have to check that there are no parasite problems or if it was due to a bite or scract that no infection has taken hold.

Hopefully it is just a temporary loss of fur and will recover soon.

best wishes Kate
