my cat is acting grumpy,loosing weight and always in heat??

hi my almost 2yr old cat is acting soo grumpy loosing weight and always in heat i dont know whats wrong with her. She has always been an inside cat if i cant find an answer i will just have to take her to the vet but i cant afford it right now.... please help thanks(:

Britt, I'm afraid from what you have described it is impossible to give you any sort of diagnosis of any possible illness your cat may have.

The only thing I would say is this. There are health conditions which can affect un spayed cats such as hormone imbalances and some cancers. It could well be that your cat is suffering from some hormone issues which is affecting her mood and also her weight. this would be especially indicated if like you say she is always in heat.

I'm afraid that your only option is to take her to the vet, who will have to examine her and possibly do some blood work to discover her problem.

Being a cat owner can be expensive sometimes and this is a reason I always ask people to think about vet insurance for the future. It sure saved me big money.

Hopefully in this case your vet will be able to easily sort her out, perhaps all she needs to to be spayed.
