my cat is acting strange.

my 2 year old cat is acting strange last 2 days,hes picked a spot on my balcony and rolls in it licking the spot constantly,what does this meen?

there must be something on that spot which is attracting him. perhaps another cat has been by or a bird. or have you dropped something there. A cats sense of smell is very good indeed and they can detect even the slightest smell.

His behavior would suggest that there is something there that he likes. A bit like the reaction a cat has to catnip.
