I have a four year old male Tuxedo and he didn`t come home this morning, he went outside last night and we left the window open for him but he never returned, he is nutured if that makes a difference. I think he got lost or killed I hope not, maybe since the weather is strange he got scarred a and ran away. I just purchased him some Purina adult cat food and a flea & tick collar since its going to be the season for those varmints it reflects light from 300 meters away and some cat nip to keep him happy . I had him since he was a baby so I`m worried about him?

P.S this is not like him to run off

Hopefully by the time you get this response your cat has returned. if not do not worry too much just yet. It is not unusual for cats to disappear for a few days especially if a few things have changed for him. Sometimes flea collars, if the cat is not used to them can cause a cat to run off. It has happened to me before now (I tend not to use them now instead I treat with fleas spot on from the vets which also treats worms), they have always come back eventually though.

Please see my web page her about lost cats, it has some advice s to how to go about looking for your cat etc. here is the page

Try not to worry, hopefully if he can he will come home soon.

best wishes Kate
