My cat is not eating after operation

My cat recently had a tumor removed on the under arm area. She has not eaten or drank much water since she has been home and stays hiding away. I do not want to bring her back to the vet until stitches are to come out because she has been through enough. She wants to be left alone and I am afraid she is going to die. Should I just let her be alone and is this a sign that she is dying?

Hi
Anesthetic can make cats feel under the weather for a few days and they may not feel like eating or drinking much.

Give her a few days of peace and quiet and just make sure that fresh water is available to her nearby so that she can get to it without much effort.

if she is the same after a few more days and still has not eaten or drunk give your vet a call and ask for their advice as they know her case and condition better.

i hope she is better soon

best wishes Kate
