My cat is not eating and throwing up

my cat started laying around the house for the last two days, hacking as if he had a fur ball, stop eating, then started vomiting a brown liquid substance.

Hi well cat vomiting can be caused by all sorts of things, see here for some possible causes

but it does sound like it could be a hairball

If the symptoms continue for another day or so or if they worsen then your only option will be to take him to see a vet in case there is something else causing the problem.

lets hope it is just a hair ball which he can get rid of himself.
