My Cat Is Pregnant

My cat is going to be giving birth soon and all she does is eat and drink alot of water. She keeps moving from side to side and some times she lays on her belly.. Is it normal for her to be drinking alot of water? Right now I have her in a cage and let her out to go to the bath room and she jumps back in the cage.. Thanks for any help you can give me

Well every cat is different but drinking lots of water is not a bad thing and should be seen at this stage as anything to worry about. She may be feeling restless if she is near to giving birth so just let her do what she wants etc. Mother nature will take care of the rest. Think she's in heat, suddenly guzzling water. Not sure if we've confined her quickly enough. Advice suggestions or other comments please?
