my cat is scratching her ear

We have a cat she is 12 yrs old and we would like to know why she is pooping while she scratches her ear and she makes this awful screetching noice as she is scratching any info would help thank you

difficult to say really as her symptoms are not specific o any particular illness. However whenever a cat changes their behavior dramatically and this behavior is dramatic then there is definitely something wrong which needs to be checked out by a vet. The scratching could suggest ear mites

Her pooping and could be because she has loose bowels which means that when she exerts herself when she scratches it just comes out. The screetches could also suggest that your cat is distressed caused by excessive itching etc.

A vet will be able to diagnose properly but something s definitely wrong and needs attention.
