hi my cat has suddenly started walking close to the ground and very slowly. almost like she is stalking but shes not. she does not seem to be in any pain than i can tell but does seem a bit uneasy on her feet. from looking at the other posts i will say that she is a outdoor cat and is just over a year old. any ideas?

Hi
well although it is impossible to say what the probably could be the behavior definitely suggests that your cat is feeling uncomfortable or ill in some way.

Any sudden change of behavior is always a sign of distress or ill health. It is possible that your cat may have fallen and hurt themselves in some way. i really would recommend that you take your cat to the vets as soon as possible for a checkup.

best wishes Kate

Cats are notorious for Masking pain and illness. By the way your kitty is walking, I would suspect that to be a sign of pain and should definitely be diagnosed by a vet. Will keep good thoughts for your baby getting better soon.
