My cat Jack won't leave my room

HI, AS I TOLD U BEFORE MY JACK WONT LEAVE MY ROOM, WELL HES STILL THERE? HE STILL LOOKS OUT THE WINDOW A LOT. HES A HEALTHY BIG BOY NO PROBLEMS THERE, BUT IM JUST WORRIED ABOUT HOW HE WONT LEAVE MY ROOM? WOULD U HAVE ANY ADVICE ON WHAT 2 DO?? HE SEEMS HAPPY ENOUGH, BUT WOULD IT BE HEALTHY 4 HIM 2 BE IN THERE 24/7 A DAY? TAKE CARE JACKS MUM.:-]

well yes if the cat is happy in your room and is eating and has plenty to do in the room then it is his choice and thats fine.

However I would assume that over time he will gain more and more confidence and want to begin to explore more. let him do it in his own time.

Just as a side thought, have you had him checked over by a vet. just in case he has a problem with his sight or hearing as this may make him more likely to be less adventurous.

Anyway i wouldn't worry, let him do things in his own way, give him access to other places etc and if he wants to explore he will.
