My cat Jasmine

Since I've had my cat jasmine she has a habit of suddenly cheering up when she is in the bathroom. She is normally a bad tempered, hard faced little thing but when ever she hears the toilet seat bang she'll run into the bathroom meowing and purring, jump on me and start to pad my stomach or my shoulders. She can either be very hyperactive or settle down on me. Why does she have a bathroom fetish?

Ah if we understood fetishes then we would be rich :)

I am wondering if it is a simple case of association. i.e the sound of the toilet flushing or water running triggers other memories for her. Something which is likes a lot. It may have nothing to do with the actual bathroom, it is simply the trigger for some other pleasant memory for her.
