why? i dont know, but my boyfriend was petting sly and noticed his lower back was hurting and his stomach feels bloated. when we go to pet sly on his lower back and his stomach he tries to bite? what could be going onn? we just got him and were wondering why hes biting and if he was abused or if it was just because he might be in heat? or because he could be internally injured? when we give him attention he doesnt stop crying. what could be going on?

Hi Frankie
Male cats don't come into heat like female cats they are ready to mate whenever they come across female cats in heat. Male cats will scent and caterwaul looking for females but apart from that they don't have any other symptoms like female cats do. So we can rule this out as to what is wrong with your cat.

My suspicion is that he may have fallen and have hurt himself either internally or has badly bruised or perhaps even fractured something. the fact that your cat cries or becomes aggressive when you touch him in these places is a good indication that he is in some discomfort. Your only option is to take him to see a vet as soon as you can to discover what has happened.

Hope he is better soon
