my cat smells of urine

My cat never smells like urine...his kitty liter is kept clean always. the past few days its like hes rolling in his pee he smells pretty bad....and he has been licking himself down there more then normal. what could be the problem is this a health issue and should i be worried?

Hi well it could be that he has a uti infection, their urine normally gets very strong when this happens.

If this is the case then he needs some treatment from the vets as soon as possible.
