My cat suddenly defecated and urinated on herself,and then collapsed for a few seconds!

I have a healthy female cat,around a year old. One night,she just spontaneously peed and pooped on herself (some of the faeces was even stuck around her anus)then she collapsed for a few seconds. We thought we had lost her! She got up by herself almost immediately. Ever since then,she's been walking,eating,and using the litter properly. What could have happened? Any insights? Reply soon. Sounds to me like your cat may be suffering from some sort of fit. the symptoms would suggest this.

Fits can be brought on by a illness or can be caused by ingesting poisons etc.

The fact that she seems fine now suggests to me like she may have an underlying illness in which case i believe there are medications which can help her.

However she does need to be properly diagnosed first by a vet. If left untreated the fits may become more severe or happen more often. It is best to find out for sure if she does have a condition which needs treatment.
