my cats behaviour lately

My cat has been lately very angry and will not let to pet her or brush her hair close to stomach.She has been gaining weight also and looks like a balloon now.Strange but round.Eats a lot and drinks even more.Very much.And her poop is kind of liquid now over a week already.I was told to give pills for worms.So I did .But Im still worried,since she is not an angry cat but now I cant even hold her.She literally attacks me....and stays away.I thought maybe change in a poop is coz of food change but it is now again the food she takes.And situation is still same.Also havent noticed any worms .Any solution?I would appreciate it.Thank you!Berit

Cats will often act with aggression when they are in pain and this is what i suspect is happening here.

it may be due to matted fur on her tummy, which can be very painful and needs to be removed by a vet or professional groomers, or she has some medical condition due to her weight (possibly a growth or intestinal problems).

When a cats behavior changes like this it is important to see this as a early signal that something is wrong and needs to be seen to. i would definitely recommend a trip to the vets as soon as possible, your cat may be in pain.
