my darling sick cat, rose

over the last week i had noticed my cat rose wasnt well, she would sleep all day and she would look at me like she was trying to tell me that she needs my love, she will always have a sad and depressed look in her eyes. then when i was patting her i noticed a big lump next to the top of her front left leg, over two days it got bigger fast and now she has a really wierd sound when she purs, she walks really slow and always has her head down. she seems like she is in extreem pain. im asking you for help as i can not afford to take her to the vet. i have been giving her antibiotics but it doesnt seem to be helping her. she is about 2 years old and she is desexed. it breaks my heart to see her in pain and upset, and it kills me that i cant take my sweet girl to the vet to get the help she needs. thanks

Kerri, I am afraid that there is only one answer here to stop your cat from suffering and that is to get her to a vet. You can't let her suffer, there must be a way. Can friends or family help with the cost? No vody likes to see an animal suffer.

Your only other option is to surrender her to a cat rescue center who will help her.

What ever this lump is it does not sound good, it may be pressing on nerves etc and can be removed or it may be cancer. no one can really say for sure. But do not give up hope, if you can get her some treatment sooner rather than later.

best wishes Kate
