My kitten walks like he is drunk.

hi i am wondering what does it mean when my cat looks like hes walking funny and then falls like if he was drunk or something

Hi it is impossible to say what the actual problem is but his behavior is definitely not normal and needs to be urgently checked out by a vet.

he may have an inner ear infection which can cause balance problems or there may even be some neurological problem. Either way a vet trip is definitely needed as soon as possible.

It could be cerebellar hypoplasia. Our kitty has this and often has trouble balancing and walks around like he's drunk. From what I've read, mild cases can live a normal lifespan as an indoor pet. Our baby is VERY loving and bonded to us.
