Neurological Problems with my cat

by Kathy
(Kansas)

I have a cat that is a little over 1 yrs old. My older cat got outside (now spayed) and had a litter of kittens. All the kittens were healthy except this one. When he was 4 weeks old I noticed him walking in circles with his neck and head crooked. His eyes also shake back and forth. He can't jump either. He is very lovable. Lately he has decided to urinate wherever he feels like it. He is also neutered. Litter box is kept clean. I am at my wits end trying to figure out what is going on with him. I have got no answers from the vet. Help please.

Hi
Cat inappropriate urinating is a complex issue with many possible causes. May I suggest that you read through my page about this issue and then try the litter training process (confinement method) with him for a week or so.

I don't think this problem is associated with his possible disabilities and is a common problem from time to time. It is far more likely to be behavioral related to territory.
