Older cat being sick

Our twelve year old male cat has been sick several times during the last month. three times he has been asleep on our bed during the night and has had to jusmp off quickly. There's no food in it, it just looks like water/bile. Does this sound serious?

Hi well there is no way to say for sure what is causing this but it could be a hairball. Often cats will vomit up phelm before they can get rid of it.

Try some of the hairball remedies to help him and if it does not or if other symptoms occur take him to a see a vet.
