Our 3 cats

Our cats (3) all licking themselves so much that they are losing hair. In some spots so bad that they have created legions open wounds. Flea baths are not helping? Their hair is rough almost like they have been hair sprayed. Because of all the licking they are getting sick with hair balls constantly – this has now became them. Any suggestions? Thanks

Firstly i dont recommend flea baths as they are no good for the fur and skin anyway and only kill the live fleas not any eggs that can stick to the fur. That could also be why their fur feels rough as the oils are being washed from the coat

Licking like this is causes by a number of things

anxiety, fleas or mites or an allergy. So either there is something that all your cats are coming into contact that is causing this reaction or they have some sort of mite. The ideal solution is to take them to a vet so that a closer look can be taken to track down the issue.
