our cat is bleeding from behind

I have a male cat named Raja, who is about 1 1/2 years old. He is not yet neutered which he will be soon. My husband and I just noticed tonight that when he poops he begins to bleed from his anus. Is there any certain things that would cause that?

well this is definitely not normal and needs to be investigated by a vet. It may be that he is constipated and the hard stools are causing the bleeding but there could be other internal issues which your vet will be more able to diagnose with an examination.
