paranoid cat

Ive had my cat for 2 years now and raised her from birth. She used to love being in the house but just recently she's been meowing loads and refusing to come inside. If she does come in the house she starts meowing all the time and it looks like she's angry or paranoid. About a month ago I gave her a tick jab and since then she's been acting like she has. Im really worried about her.

Has she been spayed? If not then her behavior could be caused by being in heat

Other than that it could simply be all the excitement of going outside and discovering new things. I have two male cats and there behavior has changed almost every month in some way mainly due to changes in the weather and discovering new places outside.

All I can say is that if you are concerned in any way that she may be ill or reacting to the jab in any way is to take her to your vet for a checkup to be on the safe side. Sometimes only the owner can pick up on whether or not it is a behavioral issue of a possible illness.
