placing litter tray

Where is the best place to put a litter tray. We are thinking of putting in a lounge room (we have 2 lounges)

the best places to put a tray is somewhere where the cat can feel safe, so against a wall or in a corner is good. Also it should not be placed near to things like washing machines etc as the noise can be upsetting for them.

Also food and water should not be placed near to the litter tray.
