Please help my kitty!

Hi! I came across your site when I started trying to find any info about whats going on with my kitty Maci. She is about 6 months old and very playful. However, yesterday she started rolling on her back and just meowing alot and whining. She keeps doing it over and over not just for attention. Also when she is walking around and trying to play she still keeps making a sound like she is maybe in pain. Almost like a purring at first and then saying ouch. Please help me cause she is like our little baby!

Is she spayed?

If she is spayed then you will need to take her for a check up at the vets to see what may be causing her distress. But it really does sound like a cat in heat to me.
