problem with kitten ?

so, my cat had 3 babies last monday. they are all fine except the small one. he has a yellowish-green substance coming from his butt. neither of the other ones do, and the mama is wanting to move them out of the box they are in, due to the smell (it smells like wet cheetos) the paper has to be changed daily because it is stinking up the house. i don't know what to do. this didn't happen with her last litter, so i'm a little worried. we can't afford a vet visit, so should i be worried ?

yes I'm afraid you do need to be worried. your little kitten has either got a very severe infection of has a terrible tummy upset. either way the only way to help him is to take him to the vets. I'm sorry but sometimes there is no other answer.

often a mother cat will want to move her kittens especially if she feels that something is wrong, she may even stop caring for this little one if he is very ill.

Find out if there are nay animal charities in your area that may be able to help with vet costs. They are there to prevent animals suffering and so there should be some help available somewhere locally to you.

i really hope you can get this little guy to see a vet soon.

best wishes Kate
