Scaredy Cat

Hello

My cat was the best. She would jump on my bed and sleep with me, sleep on my blankets, sleep on my pillows, meow, carry toys in her mouth to me like a dog. Now something i guess spooked her and she wont come near my bed, blankets, poops on the rug, and jumps extremly high and far for no reason at all. She walks really slow as if shes afraid of something when there isnt anything there. Shes afraid of my blanket, my bed, she wont come onto my bed in the morning and wake me up like she used to. Im nervous.
Whats your advice?

yes it definitely sounds like something has upset her.

I would wash all the blankets and keep your cat out of the room for a week or so to give her time to stop worrying about the blanket. Then allow her access to the room and let her explore at her own pace.

I have seen this behavior before and sometimes it can be the smallest thing which sets them off like this. A little time out and away from the cause of their fear is often all that is needed.
