Should i move old cat to my new home?

My cat is 16 years old and I am moving out of my parnets house in two months. I really want her to come with me but everyone has told me she would be best to stay at my parents. Can you give me any advice?

Hi
Well there are lots of things to consider. Will she still have the same space to roam in? Will someone be around for her as they may be now?

Apart from these issues you do have to consider the cats health and general happiness. As you know cats are very territorial and so where she lives now is her territory and where she feels safe etc. Moving her to a new home could be very stressful for a older cat.

At 16 i personally think it would be kinder to leave her where she is for her happiness and comfort.

Bet that wasn't the answer you were looking for :) sorry

Kate
