our siamese cat got thin after giving birth... its been quite sometime now that our cat has gotten thin. at first i thought it's natural due to the pregnancy. but months have pass and our cat hasn't regained her weight yet, and she loss her appetite. how do i make her increase her appetite so that she gain weight? or how do i make her gain weight? i've been giving her kitten food or those puppy food which are high in protein but she doesn't eat a lot, good thing is shes still drinking water.

It is important that mother cats get extra nutrients to help them through the period of giving birth and after wards for a while to build themselves up again. there special cats food designed for pregnant and mother cats ( An example of one of these can be found on my web page about special cat foods here
https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-diet.html

However if your cat has actually lost her appetite and is very thin I would suggest that she needs to be seen by a vet in case she has some underlining illness which may have been brought on by the pregnancy.

Hope she is back to her old self soon

best wishes Kate
