Sox Our Rescue Kitty

This is Sox our rescue kitty

My partner Andy heard a crying in the flower beds around 1.30am last week and brought her in, cold and shivering and very under nourished but very receptive to affection!

We gave her some milk (it was all we had and she didn't like tap water and who could blame her) and I got one of my wicker baskets and put a towel in it for her to sleep.

It looked like what food she'd been given was absolute crap because she ruined the towel with a nasty runny and smelly poo but since we've been feeding her properly she is pooing normally.

We first thought she had escaped from the flat where her mother and siblings are but they are still inside. So on further thinking we concluded that bearing in mind how we found her and the state she was in, she had probably been given back to the alcoholic tenant who's cruelty to cats we have already seen.

You will see on the photo that her whiskers have been cut and it could only have been the alcoholic that did it.

Anyway, she's with us now and she's staying as far as we are concerned.
She's a lively, happy and trusting kitten and we have both totally fallen in love with her.

Yup... I'm happy

Sox here... I am VERY happy. :)

I have food, hugs, play, toys and more fun than you can shake a stick at. I am also a lot bigger already. Mum needs to buy a new laptop if I am going to continue lying down on it.

Thank you mum and dad for saving me, and thank you to Our Happy Cat for telling my story.

Awww... Sox is adorable. I'm so glad she is in good hands now. She sounded in poor shape. Well good luck with your new pal.
