Teeth lost

My cat is 16 years old and she has lost about three of her front teeth. What does it mean? Do I need to take her to the vet?

It may be agodd idea to get her checked by a vet just to see if she needs any other dental work. It is common for old cats to lose their teeth, the problem is she will have to be fed only soft food which does not require biting off etc, but most cat food if you mash it up should be ok for her.
