ten year old cat becoming more clingy

Hi my cat is nearly 10 years old, ( april 23rd ) she has recently become very clingy and follows me everywhere around the house meowing more than usual, its an attention seeking meow and a bit of fuss seems to cure this but should i be concerned for her health. she is the last surviving of 4 cats so i am feeling very protective towards her. i would appreciate your expertise advice.

Sounds to me just like old age. Even though she is not that old, cats can become more clingy and attention seeking as they get older. I have a web page about older cats here https://www.our-happy-cat.com/senior-cat.html

However if you do suspect that her behaviour is very changed then I always recommend a check-up at the vets, especially if they haven't been for a while. At least that way you can put your mind at rest about your cats health and just get on with enjoying each others company and changing ways.
