Took Bootsie Cat to the vet

Hi,

This is isn't a question. I just wanted to let you know that I had written to you about my cat's eye looking awful. We did take him to the vet and got a ointment for his eye. Looks like our little kitten may have scratched him and luckily his cornea wasn't scratched. This visit cost me $100, but well worth it. Bootsie is worth it with all the love and joy he brings us!

just wanted to let all the cat people out there...do not wait when it comes to your cats eyes. If there is yellow discharge and the eye is closing and just looks terrible..please do what you can to get him or her to a vet. having a pet is a responsibility just like a child and I consider my pets my children. It's tough having to pay for a vet visit, but sometimes it just has to be done.

Thanks for your advice.

great news to hear that your cats eye is nothing too serious. i totally agree with you regarding vet visits. if you ah a child that was showing signs of illness what would you do, wait, do nothing, cross your fingers no you would seek medical advice. cats are another living thing and if we decide to welcome one into our homes and care for them, then they too deserve the same medical attention.

Oh i went off on one there, sorry.

best wishes Kate
