very sick cat

(Texas)

I have 2 cats that came out of the woods to our house (they have never been inside) and they seemed to be sisters. They don't seem at all to be even a year old yet. Anyhow, I noticed the black one was in the same spot and just slept the whole time. I picked her up and she is nothing but bones. I gave her water and food and she eats very little and drinks very little. I checked her gums and they are pink. I just feel really bad for her. I intend on taking her to the vet. I just felt that I would see her get better. Any idea what this could be? I wonder if it will resolve itself? Please respond if you have an idea of what this could be. Also I have not noticed any puking or diarrhea. This has been going on for 4 days now. Thanks for any help you can give.

poor little thing. There is only one real answer and that is to take her to the vet as soon as possible. there is no point trying to guess what could be wrong and if she is just under norished she may need some urgent extra medical healp to get her back on to the road to recovery.

i really is better to pay a little and get a proper answer than spend time worrying and possibly losing the battle.

best wishes Kate

If the cat does not inprove or is sneezing , get it to the vets, have it tested for FIP AND LEUKEMIA . . Also keep it confined.
