What does it mean when a cat tosses fresh turds out of a clean litter box?

What does it mean when a cat tosses out a fresh turd from a clean litter box? I give my cats lots of attention. I am very loving and attenative to my babies. Why do they have such a flithy habit? What can I do to change it?

Hi well I would say that he is probably not doing it on purpose. It could just be that his litter box is too small. It may be a good idea to have a litter tray which has a top on.

Also make sure that your litter box is always clean and in a place where the cat can feel safe. Ie not near a washing machine etc.

try A bigger box and one with a lid and see if that makes a difference.
