What is wrong with my cat?

My cat has not been eating, shes not playful, and has accidents on the carpet. For 4 months she has never had an accident and now has had two in the last few days. She is breathing heavily and shaking. Her fur also looks greasy. Do you know what could be wrong with her?

it is impossible to diagnose your cats problem from the symptoms you describe as they could indicate all sorts of issues, such as cat flu, a virus, a infection etc etc.

the only way to be sure is to take them to a see a vet who can do some tests to find out for certain.

My cats have recently been ill with a very nasty virus which caused them all sorts of problems and thank goodness i took them to see a vet to make sure that nothing worse happened. you can never be sure whether you are dealing with a little virus which will clear up in a few days or something worse which needs special care. Unfortunately the only real way is to go to see your vets.

if your cat is still the same in another day then i think a visit to your vets is in order.
