Where's Summer? My Cats Wonder

My Cat Byron Looking For The sun

My Cat Byron Looking For The sun

Well since the last post in May where I reported that we had been having non stop rain, things have only got worse. Yes June here in the UK has been one big wash out. In fact flooding has been the order of the day rather than sun-bathing.

All this rain does mean of course that I have had two very bored, very fed up and a little grumpy cats.

The order of the day seems to be, sleep, eat, look out of window and sit at my feet pleading for games all day. i can tell you, i really am rather fed up of a certain toy mouse. I'm sure he is fed up too with me throwing him here there and everywhere in the vain hope of trying to entertain my kitties.

I must admit I never expected that i would have to entertain my cats when i first got them. All my previous cats always seemed quite happy to amuse themselves. But not these two, it really is like having a couple of toddlers around. Now I'm not complaining, I love them both dearly but it does rather eat into my work time a lot.

So I put a call out to all my cat friends who visit my site, can you answer this question for me and help me amuse my cats.
What games do you play with your cats to keep them happy on rainy days?

Hope you like the picture above of my gorgeous Byron looking out of the window. It is one of my favorites. Byron really does take a good picture I think.

So it's on to July with fingers crossed that the Sun does decide to visit us here in Blighty this year.

Till next time, hope your cats are feeling the sun on their backs.
