why does my cat fall on the floor with his legs spread wide open??

i was just wondering why anytime im in the kitchen my cat will come running in there and just fall on the floor, on his back, with all fours spread wide open. Sometimes he just does it when me and my husband are watching tv. I dont know what he wants? help

This is not a problem it is his way of showing you submissive behavior ie i know you are boss. Showing there tummy ie there most vunerable area is there way of letting you know they are comfortable with you and are happy for you to be in charge. See it as a compliment.
