Why won't my cat stop twitching?

My cat princess is 8 years old and had her regular visit to the vet today. she had her rabies shot that shes had before and we took her home. i went out for 4 hours and when i came home i noticed that she wont stop twitching her two front paws and two back legs. this is very unusual and when i try to pick her up she meows and tries to get away. this is completely unlike her and i am very worried.

If i were you i would telephone your vet and explain what is happening. She may be having an allergic reaction to something in the injection.
