Worried sick about my little kitten, can't afford a vet check-up right now

Well, my cat is a male, born in September, I saw a little white worm come out of his bottom not too long ago, then there was a bit of red liquid in his stool, and this morning all I heard when I picked him up was this ooz, so I looked at his butt and saw this transparent liquid. I wasn't sure if it was pee so I threw him in the litter box.. but it wasn't pee, there was no wet mark where he was sitting.. nothing.. I'm really worried..

I'd like to have some idea of what to do until I can bring him to see a vet.

have you treated him for worms? if not then this could be the cause of his infection. There are several different types of worms and they all need to be treated. you can buy worm treatment from pet stores but the vets can sell you a really good one which you can be sure is the best.

It does sound like he has an infection too though and this usually requires antibiotics to clear up and these are only available from the vets. if you can take him soon it would be in his best interest.

i have a web page about cat worms for further information here

best wishes Kate
